A student governed club that is under the supervision of a faculty member. These students work together to provide the slc student nursing population with social and academic events. The NSS consists of 6 board members as well as representatives of each registered and practical nursing program year.

ENACTUS SLC is part of an international organization. We are a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world. Our mission is to reduce poverty by creating comprehensive solutions to issues within our greater community. Through projects led by students and volunteers, Enactus strives to make a positive difference in the lives of people inside and outside of our community. The team is composed of 25-45 students from a variety of programs in the College and always welcomes new members.
SLC alliance
The goal for ‘The Alliance’ club is to form positive relationships between gay, straight and students of all orientation to fight homophobia, isolation, marginalization, violence, and exclusion in the community. The Alliance promotes acceptance, respect, and tolerance of all individuals regardless of racial background, socio-economic status, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Join us to help raise awareness and promote education about homophobia and other forms of sexual oppression.

mature student network
An outlet for students of mature status to gather with fellow students to socialize, study, vent, discuss, and experience college life together.
Primarily for students who have entered college after a number of years away and those who have returned to study via channels other than directly out of high school.
This is a student led effort to support the needs, issues and interest of mature students at St. Lawrence College.
Mature students face different challenges than the average college student; family, work and other issues such as: unfamiliar technology, and studying routines around a busy schedule that can add to the stress of school.
The Mature Students Network offers a friendly and supportive group for students of all ages and disciplines.
best buddies
Best buddies is a non-profit, international organization run through high schools, colleges & universities. Students at SLC are paired in one-to-one friendships with someone in the Kingston Community who has an intellectual disability.

Sociable is a safe environment for students to meet one another, build Positive friendships, and have fun! The club is set up to be as flexible as possible so that the club activity for the day is something that all members can be involved in, whether is playing board games, watching movies, or playing video games. There will also be food at a majority of the meetings for anyone who is present, normally pizza.

The SLC Anime and Manga club is a gathering of students that meet once a week to watch, discuss and enjoy anime and manga. We talk about current and past trends and also enjoy the occasional abridged series.
Watching your favorite anime with your friends is a great way to end a stressful week!
