Kingston Transit
Need some help getting around?
Kingston Transit has recently partnered with Google Maps and Transit to help bring you a smoother riding experience.
On the Google Maps and Transit app you are able to accurately plan your bus route, and see, in real time, where the busses are.
Ride Kingston Transit with your student card.
Eligibility
All new and returning full-time Kingston students are eligible for the bus pass from the period of September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024.
How it will work
SLC student cards will be stickered with the Kingston Transit pass information, including the eligibility period. To ride the bus, you will be required to always show your stickered SLC student card. If you don’t have your student card yet, you can fill out a request form through the URSLC platform.
If you do not have a student card by September 1st, you will NOT be able to use the bus pass, until you have followed the link above to receive your card. Submit your information for student card as soon as possible!
Cost
The bus pass fee is $190 for the year. This fee has been applied to all eligible students’ accounts. If you are not enrolled full-time, you will not receive a bus pass, and the fee does not apply to you.
Benefits of a universal bus pass
Saving students money (students save about $524 on the price of a pass over the year)
Offers students a reliable way to get home safely when they need it
Reduces greenhouse gas emissions and supports sustainability
Improved student-focused transit services (through our partnership with the city)
Reduces the demand for on-campus parking
