As your Student Association, we're always on the hunt for ways to help you out. We thought you could use a few special perks to help you out with some common expenses and keep you connected to the SLC community. Check out this map, you’ll find exclusive discounts and SLC alumni owned businesses, customized just for you!

Types of Discounts

Grocery

  • Food Basics (Barrack Street): 10% off with student card on Tuesday

  • Loblaws (Midland Avenue): 10% back in PC Points on Tuesdays

  • Loblaws (Princess Street):  FREE shuttle bus every Tuesday and Thursday with a pickup spot right at the SLC Front Doors. The Starbucks is offering $3 Grande’s for any drink of choice. Student discount everyday of the week which is 10% back in PC Optimum Points.

  • Metro (Barrie Street): 10% off for students on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays

  • Bulk Barn: 15% off for students on Wednesdays

Restaurants & Fast Food

  • Fat Bastard Burrito: $10.99 Big Burrito or Burrito Bowl and can of pop or bottle of water in restaurant by presenting student card at any of the 4 Kingston locations.

  • Union Kitchen + Cocktails: 10% off food with valid student card

Entertainment & Activities

  • The Fun Zone: Friday/Saturday/Sunday Nights: Laser Tag and VR are just $7/activity for High School, College and University Students from 5:00 PM-Close

  • Improbable Escapes: Save 10% on escape rooms using code SLC24 or in person by showing student ID

  • KC Paddling Club: 10% discount to St. Lawrence College students for the Basic Kayak Skills course (8 hours). Students can reach out via email for more information and to express interest.

  • Sherlock’s Escapes: Use code RAFFLEGIFT for $50 off an in-person escape room, or code SLCSLEUTHS for $50 off an in-person escape room - Students save 10-15% on in-person escape rooms with valid student card

Services

  • Burham Optical: All prescription frames have a two-year warranty and include a scratch resistant coating with no additional cost. A 15% discount is also offered to all students on all prescription packages

  • Talize: 10% off for students

  • Via Rail: An available student pass allows students to travel cheaper across their selected zone
